The European elections have become a moment for resetting the long term agenda of the European Union. To help candidates and the political parties position themselves on long term issues, the different European institutions are publishing forward looking documents. Member States are preparing the European Council’s Strategic agenda – a kind of strategic contract with the next Commission – and testing ideas for the future.

In this online event, Dr Franck Debié, Director of the Library of the European Parliament will provide a personal guided tour through these forward looking texts on shelf, all fresh from the print by Macron, Draghi, Letta … or the European inter-institutional foresight system (ESPAS).
